Olive Oil

Olive oils (Olea europaea) are a known as a high value, high quality food commodity. The largest producers are within the Mediterranean, but there are other growers internationally. There are many different grades of olive oils, from the more expensive Extra Virgin, to refined and pomace varieties. All have their uses within the food industry.

Applications

Olive oil has a variety of uses within the food industry, for example within salad dressings, for high end cooking, and as a preservative.
